The response involved setting up a full site, including temporary fencing, signage and a complete warehouse enclosure with remediation work commencing immediately.
The asbestos was settled dust and remnants on high-level areas inside the warehouse, requiring full containment of the space and strict compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
