Total Services Group have a history with Bureau Veritas going back some 20 years. TSG have been a trusted provider in all hazmat services, working together with the site to deliver projects on time for some of Australia’s most important mining companies.
This project scope encompassed the construction of a sealed enclosure with a decontamination area and negative air pressure to accommodate one of Bureau Veritas’s silica dust generation activities. The enclosure required a substantial duration of operation and necessitated meticulous planning with additional support. It was designed to house a forklift for the operational process, with a materials decon section incorporated to accommodate multiple steel drums. Upon completion of the works, the enclosure underwent decontamination, and clearances were granted to the forklift utilised during the construction, ensuring its safe return for reuse.
These works were carried out with a preoccupational instructional meeting by TSG to all staff with instructions for enclosure use. This was just one such enclosure provided to the client over the years.
