Huntha Management required professional hazardous materials specialists to undertake demolition and asbestos removal works in one of Adelaide’s busiest locations.
Total Services Group was entrusted to establish, plan, and execute the works while ensuring minimal disruption to Adelaide’s premier shopping strip.
The site’s operations required specific access permissions, which necessitated collaboration with the city council and nearly one hundred close-proximity businesses and neighbours. This involved undertaking out-of-hours work, presenting an additional challenge of transporting all waste generated from the site via a 1.5×1.5m lift car. The project encompassed numerous stages, including the construction of multiple ‘bubbles’ to address the friable asbestos beam fireproofing issue.
Total Services Group’s team successfully completed the project without any elevated readings or injuries.
